Smart surfaces

On SmarTracks Locations worldwide, Timing Gates have been integrated beneath the surface of running tracks and turf fields.
This creates high-tech smart surfaces that allow athletes and coaches to train under optimal circumstances.

  • Because the Timing Gates are located in the ground, they do not hinder athletes or coaches during the training.
  • Because the Timing Gates are permanently installed, there is no need to set up wiry electronics.
  • Because the Timing Gates are hidden under the surface, they are 100% protected against vandalism and extreme weather conditions.

For new and existing sports surfaces

The Timing Gates In-Ground can be easily integrated into new or existing sports surfaces.

The individual magnetic gates are simply let into the running track or sports field at defined intervals.
After this, the boreholes created in this process are then properly resealed.
After integration, the Timing Gates In-Ground are entirely maintenance-free.

Timing Gates Mobile

 

Because of the robust and uncomplicated design, the Timing Gates Mobile are easy to set up.
The gates do not contain sensitive electronics and are tolerant against humidity and dirt.

The gates are extremely fast to set up and can be used individually.
They allow, among other things, the measurement of agility tests or sport-specific sprint intervals.
